Department: DeMatel House (Skilled Nursing) & Angelique House (Assisted Living/Memory Care)
Classification: Full-time
Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Responsibilities: Provides basic nursing care by assisting residents with personal, nutritional, restorative, and activities of daily living. Performs basic nursing procedures and care under the direction of a licensed charge nurse. Answers nurse call lights promptly and does all task necessary and instructed by supervising nurse and administration to provide needed care for residents. Keeps the facility clean, neat, safe, odor free, and in compliance with all state and federal regulations following all organizational policies and procedures. Must be knowledgeable of nursing/administration policies and procedures. Must have a positive attitude, personality, and be team oriented willing to assist others. Must be on time to schedule shifts. Must be patient and willing to accept change. Must have memory care experience.

Responsibilities: Companionship, grooming, bathing, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping; dementia intervention; incontinence care.

Responsibilities: Provide basic nursing care by assisting residents with personal, nutritional, and restorative care and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse. Answers call bell promptly and do whatever necessary to provide quality care to residents and keep the facility clean and safe.

EMPLOYMENT
CATEGORIES
Full Time - 40 Hours
A person who is hired and expected to work 40 hours per week on a consistent basis. This person receives full benefits as per employee handbook which includes holidays, vacation, sick, pension and medical benefits.
Full Time - 32 Hours
A person who is hired and expected to work no less than 32 hours per week on a consistent basis. This person receives benefits as per employee handbook which includes holidays, vacation, pension and medical benefits. If an employee works extra hours occasionally, this does not change the 32 hours per week status.
Part Time
A person who is regularly scheduled and authorized to work less than 24 hours per week consistently. This person receives benefits as per employee handbook. If an employee works extra hours occasionally, this does not change the hours per week status.
PRN/Pool Employee
A PRN employee is not guaranteed or scheduled to work any specific number of hours per workweek, but scheduled as needed. PRN/Pool employees do not receive benefits except those mandated by law.
Temporary/Occasional
A person who works full-time or part-time, with a beginning date and an ending date usually not to exceed a three-month period. This person does not receive benefits except those mandated by law.
Registered/License or Certified Employees
All professionally registered, licensed and/or certified personnel are required to keep their license and/or registrations in the State of Texas current. A copy of the current license and/or registration document must be provided upon employment and with each renewal.
