Our volunteers make our community a better place and they enable us to further advance our mission and to improve the lives of our residents every day.

Caring Companions

Visit and spend time with residents of the DeMatel Extended Care or the Angelique Memory Care units.

Activity Assistants

Engage with residents during fun activities throughout the day.

Special Event Assistants

Celebrate with our residents and find out what makes our parties great as you serve our residents in a variety of different roles.

Librarians*

Maintain the Village Library by restocking books. Assist those looking for a particular book or with the cataloging of existing books.

Gift Shop Keepers**

Greet shoppers and sell merchandise in Noah’s Cart Gift Shop on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Organizers for the Resale Shoppe**

Sort and organize donations to The Village in preparation for monthly Thrift Sales, the proceeds from which help pay for sacramental supplies.

Welcoming Committee*

Welcome new residents to the community by inviting them to meals, social events and introducing them to their neighbors (This opportunity is open only to residents).

Liturgical & Eucharistic Ministers

Assist the Presider at our Liturgies with the setting up of the Altar and with the distribution of Holy Communion during the Celebration of the Eucharist. (must be a practicing Catholic)

** these opportunities require a commitment of at least 6 hours per week

Absolutely! At the discretion of the Director of Volunteers, you can obtain double hours for seasonal events, weekends and holidays.

Absolutely, we provide training and guidance for each role and engagement activities for our volunteers.
