Current Openings

Department: Sisters Care In-Home Care 

Classification: PRN

Responsibilities: Companionship, grooming, bathing, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping; dementia intervention; incontinence care.

Department: Mulitple Departments (Extended Care and Assisted Living)

Classification: Full Time & PRN

Responsibilities: Provide basic nursing care by assisting residents with personal, nutritional, and restorative care and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse. Answers call bell promptly and do whatever necessary to provide quality care to residents and keep the facility clean and safe.

*Immediate positions available for all shifts*

**$750 Sign-On Bonus for Extended Care positions**

Department: Mulitple Departments (Extended Care & Assisted Living)

Classification: Full Time & PRN

Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the D.O.N., the Charge Nurse is responsible for all direct patient care.

2-10 & 10-6 shift

**$1,500 Sign-On Bonus for Extended Care Positions** 

Department: Food Services

Classification: Full Time

Responsibilities: Sets up meal service for residents, prepares food, serves food, and maintains a high standard of sanitation.

Department: Food Services

Classification: Full Time

Responsibilities: Prepare food for residents, guests, and staff while maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control.

Department: Housekeeping

Classification: Full Time

Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to Baseboard cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, carpet spot cleaning, general cleaning, and arranging lightweight furniture and or equipment.

Department: Mulitple Departments (Assisted Living and Extended Care)

Classification: Full Time with Alternating Weekends

Responsibilities: 

Prepares, administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Answer signal lights as necessary, order prescribed and stock medications, and assists with patient care, i.e., helping put residents to bed or to get up, take them to the bathroom, etc. Does whatever is required to maintain a safe environment. Must be knowledgeable of nursing/administration policies and procedures.

Qualification:

1. Education: High School

2. Must be able to follow and understand oral and/or written English directions.

3. Training and experience: must have completed a state-approved training program in Medication Administration

4. Job Knowledge: Education or training for recertification must be complete according to Federal and State Regulations.

Department: DeMatel Extend Care and Nursing

Classification: Full Time 

Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Nursing is responsible in conjunction with the Nursing Management team for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating activities of the department of nursing to ensure therapeutically effective resident care.

Education and Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

 

Department: DeMatel Extend Care and Nursing

Classification: Full Time 

Responsibilities: 

Assists in organizing and administering the department of nursing while providing quality nursing care and assumes responsibilities delegated by the Director of Nursing.

EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS:
RN Licensure is active without restriction in the state of operation. Two (2) years of previous nursing experience required, preferably working with a geriatric long-term care population; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensed to practice nursing in the state of employment.

Department: Business Development

Classification: Full Time, 40 hour position. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 pm with occasional weekend and evening hours

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will assist with the welcoming and onboarding of new residents overseeing details both large and small. The Move-in Coordinator will promote The Village at Incarnate Word mission, heritage, community features, and benefits of senior living. The candidate will serve as a liaison between residents/families and staff, orienting new residents to our community, its services, and amenities. 

This position includes communication with prospective residents and their family members, moving companies, maintenance, housekeeping, and cable/phone providers. You will take on the responsibility of being the point person for every move from start to finish working closely with the sales team and management.

Qualifications: 1 + years in a move-in coordination role or work in a senior living community

EMPLOYMENT
CATEGORIES

Full Time - 40 Hours

A person who is hired and expected to work 40 hours per week on a consistent basis.  This person receives full benefits as per employee handbook which includes holidays, vacation, sick, pension and medical benefits.

Full Time - 32 Hours

A person who is hired and expected to work no less than 32 hours per week on a consistent basis. This person receives benefits as per employee handbook which includes holidays, vacation, pension and medical benefits. If an employee works extra hours occasionally, this does not change the 32 hours per week status.

Part Time

A person who is regularly scheduled and authorized to work less than 24 hours per week consistently. This person receives benefits as per employee handbook. If an employee works extra hours occasionally, this does not change the hours per week status.

PRN/Pool Employee

A PRN employee is not guaranteed or scheduled to work any specific number of hours per workweek, but scheduled as needed. PRN/Pool employees do not receive benefits except those mandated by law.

Temporary/Occasional

A person who works full-time or part-time, with a beginning date and an ending date usually not to exceed a three-month period. This person does not receive benefits except those mandated by law.

Registered/License or Certified Employees

All professionally registered, licensed and/or certified personnel are required to keep their license and/or registrations in the State of Texas current. A copy of the current license and/or registration document must be provided upon employment and with each renewal.
